On September 12, 13 and 14 we celebrated the Salcantay Olympics. Three days full of color, competitions, games and fun; to challenge ourselves and overcome obstacles. Congratulations to the effort team, winner of the 2018 Salcantay Olympics!
The dances of the different regions of Peru, the typical costumes and the happiness of our students were the essence of the 2018 Dance Festival. This year the First Place was for the 6th Grade students. Congratulations girls!
Marisel Allende, Forest Engineer and Specialist in Natural Resources Conservation for USAID, talked to 6th and 7th grade students about how indigenous communities in Peru are mitigating climate change, deforestation and forest threats.
Sandra Plevisani, renowned baker and host of the TV Program “Dulces Secretos” visited Salcantay as part of the Cycle of Conferences under the name “Strength and Solidarity of Peruvians in the Face of Adversity.”
In July, the students and teams with outstanding performance in the ADECOPA competitions of the I Semester of 2017 received the corresponding awards. Giulia Montalbetti was chosen as Best Player of the Under-17 Volleyball Championship.
